The Impact of Economic Indicators on the Evolution of Business Confidence during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period

This publication focuses on issues related to the development of entrepreneurship. The aim this is demonstrate how fluctuations economic indicators have been affecting business confidence during COVID-19 pandemic. Business trust important for entrepreneurs because it significantly determines decision-making process and ensures stable functioning an organization. Our study assessed G7 E27 countries Poland comparison purposes years 2015–2021. Among other things, study, following were performed: literature analysis; formulation research questions a hypothesis: negatively pandemic period; data from databases which used: EUROSTAT, GUS, OECD, TRADING ECONOMICS. presented results indicate that there relationship between BCI. particularly noticeable at turn first second quarters 2020. indicator shows negative values period. also showed increasing infections in pandemic’s initial stage led growing insecurity developing activities, proven by calculated Pearson correlation coefficient scoring ?0.3982.
